WhatsApp is working to Silently Exit Groups, Check Details

One of most frustrating sides of the instant messaging platform, WhatsApp is alerting all users in a group when you decide to quit one.

However, that could soon change as WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to silently exit unwanted groups.

With this feature, other members of groups will not be able to know about their exit.

As per the WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo, the only users, who left their groups, and group admins will be notified.

Once the feature is rolled out, other group members will not be able to know whether one of them has left their group.

At present, all the members of a group get a notification if a user leaves that group.

The feature is currently under development and will be coming to a future update of the app.

The feature has currently been spotted in WhatsApp Desktop beta, but is very likely to also come to WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS later on.

As with most features in testing, this one should also come to all devices with WhatsApp when a stable update rolls out, perhaps in a couple of months.
