WhatsApp is Working on a New Share Profile Interface

The meta-owned instant messaging service, WhatsApp has been spotted developing a new interface for business accounts.

It gives users the ability to share a short link directly from the WhatsApp app to other users.

The change has appeared on the beta version for Android app and it could be available soon for the iOS users as well.

As of now, WhatsApp allows both business users and regular consumers to share their profiles through a QR code.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.9.8 has some references about the new interface.

The report notes that tapping the icon will bring a new section called 'Share Profiles' that lets users get the option to copy the short link of their profile.

It suggest that interface will be meant specifically for WhatsApp Business accounts, means regular users may not be able to see it on their app.
