Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) completes its one year of release with an embarking success registering more than 100 million users on Android and iOS devices.

The most popular battle royale PUBG was essentially banned in India in September 2020 and returned with a new name in the following year for its Indian fans.

South Korea-based organization Krafton had taken the initiative of relaunching an Indian version of PUBG.

BGMI is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, exclusively for players in India. The game was released on 2 July 2021 for Android devices, and on 18 August 2021 for iOS devices.

Since then BGMI became the talk of the town and the creators claimed that BGMI has now become the most popular battle royale in India.

Krafton takes extreme pride in themselves revealing the game had hit more than 100 million registered users.
