3. Tap on the Me icon at the top header.

4. Select Settings & Privacy from the appeared options.

5. Click on Communications from the left sidebar.

6. Select Messages under Who can reach you section.

7. Here, you will see InMail Messages, turn off the toggle next to it.

On Mobile
1. Open the LinkedIn app on your phone.
2. Click on your profile picture icon on the top-left side.

3. Tap on the gear icon to open Settings.

4. Select Communications from the given options.

5. Tap on Messages under Who can reach you.

6. Turn off the toggle next to InMail Messages.

Disable Sponsored Messages

Once you do the above settings, you will not receive InMail and Sponsored Messages. Although, it will not stop messages from a 1st-degree connection and to stop them you need to block the particular person. Follow the below steps to block a user.
On PC
1. Head over to the person’s profile that you want to block.
2. Click on More under the profile.

3. Select Report/Block from the given options.

4. Tap on Block USER on the next screen.

5. Finally, click on Block to block the user.

On Mobile
1. Open the LinkedIn app on your Android or iPhone.
2. Head over to the user’s profile you want to block.
3. Click on the three-dots icon under their profile.

4. Select Report or Block from the appeared menu.
