Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Review
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has its Pros from 120Hz Super AMOLED Display to Android 12 OS out of the box but Samsung has also done some compromises which can be a letdown for some users.
Let’s go deeper and see what Samsung has offered in its Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone.
Display
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED Display with 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate.
There is no doubt Samsung makes the best display panels for smartphones and the same quality can be seen in this phone. So, you will not face any problems.
The phone also has Widevine L1 support which means you can stream FHD+ content on OTT apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc. The device has a peak brightness of 800 nits, so you will not face any issues outdoors.

The back and frame of the device are made out of plastic while there is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front side.
Here, Samsung should have provided the Glass back but they didn’t, and yes this is a Samsung smartphone, so can’t expect everything.
Overall, you will not face any problems while using the smartphone. Samsung has provided a good quality panel.
Cameras
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture that has OIS, a 12MP ultrawide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 32MP Selfie Camera Lens with f/2.2 aperture in the punch-hole design display. Both the front and rear cameras can record up to 4k videos at 30fps which is good.
The 64MP primary sensor takes some good shots under good lighting conditions and like any other smartphone, the sensor saturates the colors of the images.
We have seen, a lot of brands who does the same thing but it depends on you, whether you like saturated color images or natural colors.

The 12MP ultrawide also capture some good images with good wide-angle detailing in the good lighting, but at night or low-light, the sensor tries to overexpose the image and this is where it loses out on details.
The 32MP selfie camera also takes decent shots but again it also suffers in the low lighting.
Overall, the phone has a decent camera and is not that great considering the price of the device.
Performance
The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 Processor coupled with Arm Mali-G68 GPU.
The chipset is powerful enough to play every single game available in the market without any issues.
The Galaxy A53 5G runs on Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 skin out of the box. Samsung has promised to provide 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates.

The smartphone also has extended RAM or Virtual RAM availability. However, the extended RAM is a gimmick and used only for marketing purposes and has no use in real-life, so forget about that.
Overall, you will not face any issues while playing games or using them in day-to-day life.
Battery
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G packs a 5,000 mAh Battery with 25W Fast Charging Support. However, Samsung has not provided any charger in the box.
Here, most of the smartphones at the price comes with 50W or 65W fast charging support, so, Samsung has done cost-cutting.
The battery of the device will last for a day or less, depending on your daily usage.
Audio
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes with Stereo Speakers which provide you with good quality audio. It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone which helps you during calls.
The device does not have a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack to plug your wired earphones or headphones.
Overall, the device had good sound quality and you will not face any issues while taking calls.
