Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G Review
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G has its Pros from Snapdragon 695 to 120Hz Refresh but Redmi has also done some compromises on it which can be a letdown for some users.
Let’s go deeper and see what Redmi has offered in its Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G smartphone.
Display
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ features a 6.67-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz Refresh Rate, and 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display further has 1200 nits Peak Brightness, so that you will not face any issues on outdoor.
The device has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the front and but Redmi has not mentioned which glass they used on the backside while the frame is made out of plastic.
The smartphone does have Widevine L1 support which means, you will be able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps like Amazon Prime Videos and Netflix.

Overall, Redmi has done a good job with display and as of now, this is the only 5G smartphone that has a 120Hz AMOLED display at this price.
Performance
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Processor coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 Storage.
There is also a Hybrid SIM Slot for storage expansion. The device runs on Android 11-based MIUI 13 skin out of the box. Here, Redmi should provide Android 12 OS out of the box, but they didn’t, they went with Android 11 which is not good considering the price of the device.
The device also has extended or Virtual RAM availability. However, the Virtual RAM is a gimmick and used only for marketing purposes and has no use in real-life, so forget about that.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is 5G supportive and has 7 5G bands that are n1, n3, n5, n8, n28, n40, and n78.

The processor used in this device which is Snapdragon 695 is capable of handling every single game without any problem.
However, We have seen Snapdragon 695 SoC in Realme 9 Pro 5G which is available at a cheaper price than the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. Hence, Redmi should have provided this smartphone at a cheaper price or have used any other chipset.
Overall, the device is good for playing gaming and you will not face any problems while using the phone in day-to-day life.
Cameras
The device has a 108MP Triple Rear Camera Setup with an LED Flash in the rectangular module. The cameras consist of a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 16MP Selfie Camera Lens with an f/2.4 aperture in the punch-hole design display. Both the rear and front cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
Now, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is priced at Rs 20,999 (or USD 329) and Redmi needed to justify the price tag, hence they have added a bigger sensor of 108MP.

The 108MP primary camera captures some good shots in the daylight but it suffers a little bit in night photography. Now, this can be fixed via an OTA update, but who knows when Redmi will fix it.
The 8MP ultrawide angle sensor also captures some good ultrawide shots with good detailing.
Now, forget that 2MP macro sensor, this is added just for numbers. Here, Redmi has downgraded the macro sensor of the device as its predecessor Redmi 10 Pro Max’s 5MP macro sensor that captures good macro shots.
That 16MP selfie camera also takes good images, still, Redmi needs to work on the selfie camera of the device. That’s said, the front-facing camera is decent but it’s not the best in the price range.
Overall, the cameras of the device are good enough but if you are looking for a camera-centric device, you can skip the device.
Battery
The device packs a 5,000 mAh Battery with 67W Fast Charging Support. Redmi has also provided a 67W Charger inside the box of the device.
As per the company, this 67W Charger can fully charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in around 42 minutes.
Overall, the battery life of the device is great and it should last for the day.
Audio
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has stereo speakers which work fine, no issues there. The device has dual speakers, so you will not face any issues with audio.
It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone. The device does have carrier aggregation support.
The smartphone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack to plug in your wired earphones or headphones.
Overall, the sound quality is good and there are no issues with call quality too.
