So, these are the Pros and Cons of the Redmi 10A, now let’s see the full features and specifications of the smartphone.
Redmi 10A Full Specifications
Only the base variant of the device is worth buying and not the top-end model. However, the device has some minute changes from its predecessor like the main upgrade in the latest device is a fingerprint scanner which is not present in the Redmi 9A.
Display
The Redmi 10A features a 6.53-inches HD+ TFT IPS Display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution and a 60Hz Refresh Rate. The display further has 400 nits Brightness.
The back panel and frame of the device are made out of plastic while there is a Panda glass protection on the top.
As the device has a TFT IPS Display, hence it has a Rear-mounted fingerprint scanner to unlock the device using fingerprints.

Overall, the display of the device is good and but it’s not good if you are looking for a high-end model.
Camera
The Redmi 10A has a single rear camera with an LED flash in the square module that houses a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
There is a 5MP Selfie Camera Lens in the waterdrop style notch display. Both the front and rear cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
The 13MP rear camera lens captures okay-type photos and the dynamic range is also very limited.
Now, the 5MP selfie camera also clicks okay photos, and details are very limited. Here, Redmi should have provided an 8MP selfie camera at least but they didn’t, they went with 5MP only which is not good even at this price.

Also, Redmi needs to work on the cameras and provide better cameras, especially the rear camera at this price. Also, they need to optimize the camera to justify the pricing.
Overall, the cameras of the phone are not great but they are okay as per the price of the base variant. So, if you are looking for a camera-centric device, you need to pay more money.
Performance
Under the hood, the device runs on a Mediatek Helio G25 processor which is paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 Internal Storage. There is also a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion of up to 512GB.
The device runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 skin out of the box. Now, as this successor to the Redmi 9A, hence Redmi should have included a better chipset like Snapdragon G70 or Helio G85, but they didn’t, instead of that, they choose the same which they added in the Redmi 9A.
The Helio G25 is not that powerful, the phone feels laggy and sometimes, it freezes for seconds while opening applications or performing other tasks. Overall, don’t expect the performance to be great, you will be disappointed with the performance.

Overall, the performance is good but if you are expecting a good performance then you will get disappointed.
Battery
The device features a 5,000 mAh Battery with 10W Charging Support. Redmi has also provided a 10W Charger inside the box of the phone.
Overall, as it features an HD+ Display with a 60Hz Refresh Rate, hence you will get a good battery backup. However, the battery life of the device varies from person to person.
But if you are a normal user, the device will last for a day without any kind of issues.
Audio
The device does not have dual stereo speakers, instead, it has a single speaker which is loud, so don’t expect everything at this price point.
Also, the device does not have a secondary noise-cancellation microphone, so another person on the call might have a problem hearing your voice during the call.
The smartphone has a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack which means you can plug your wired earphones or headphones without any issues.
Overall, the audio quality and the call quality are good considering the price.
