Realme C35 Review

Realme C35 has some Pros but it does have many compromises from TFT LCD to single speaker and more.

Let’s go deeper and see what Realme has offered in its Realme C35 smartphone.

The Realme C35 features a 6.6-inches FHD+ TFT LCD Display with 2408 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 60Hz Refresh Rate, and 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display further has a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, 90.7% Screen-to-body ratio, and 600 nits Peak Brightness.

The frame and back panel of the device are made out of plastic while there is glass protection on the top but Realme has not disclosed which glass they used to protect the display.

Realme C35 Display

Here, Realme should have provided the IPS LCD panel with at least 90Hz Refresh Rate but they didn’t, they went with a 60Hz TFT LCD Display which is not good at this price. Overall, we can say that Realme C35 has a decent display and is not great at this price point.

So, if you are looking for a smartphone with a higher refresh rate or AMOLED Display, you can go with another phone.

The Realme C35 features a 50MP Triple Rear Camera Setup with an LED flash in the rectangular module. The cameras consist of a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 0.3MP macro sensor with f/2.8 aperture.

There is an 8MP Selfie Camera lens with f/2.0 aperture in the water-drop notch design display. The rear cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps (frames per second) while the front cameras can record up to 720p videos at 30fps.

The 50MP primary lens takes some decent shots, but there is some issue with dynamic range and the colors also get whiter. The videos also come out good as per the price point.

Also, forget that 2MP maco and 0.3MP B&W lens as they are added just for numbers. Instead of that, Realme should have provided an ultrawide angle lens but they didn’t.

Realme C35 Cameras

The 8MP selfie camera lens is not good enough and there is also some issue with the dynamic range.

Overall, the cameras of the device are good considering the price of the phone. But, if you are looking for a good camera phone, you can skip the Realme C35.

The smartphone is powered by a 12nm-based octa-core Unisoc T616 Processor coupled with Arm Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 Storage.

The device runs on Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition skin out of the box. Now, here Realme should have provided the Android 11 as other brands are giving Android 12 out of the box at the same price point.

The Unisoc T616 is a good processor and you will also not face any issues in the day-to-day tasks but Realme should provide any other powerful processor considering the price of the device.

Realme C35 Performance

The device does not have 5G support as Unisoc T616 is a 4G supportive processor only, so you are stuck with a 4G network.

Overall, the performance of the device is decent enough and not that great what other brands are providing at this price.

The device packs a 5,000 mAh Battery with 18W Fast Charging Support. Realme has also provided an 18W Charger inside the box of the device.

Overall, the battery backup of the device is good. However, the battery life of the device varies from person to person.

If you are a heavy user then you need to charge the device two times a day, but if you are a normal user, the device will last for a day without any issues.

The device only does not have dual stereo speakers, instead of that it has a single speaker at the bottom side which is loud, but still, Realme needs to provide a dual stereo speaker but they didn’t.

Also, the device does not have a secondary noise-cancellation microphone, so another person on the call might have a problem hearing your voice during the call.

However, the device has a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack to plug your wired earphones or headphones.

Overall, the audio quality and the call quality are decent and not the best at this price point.
