Realme 9i Launched in India: Full Specifications and FAQs

Realme has launched a new smartphone in its Realme 9 Series in India, named Realme 9i. The device comes as the successor to the Realme 8i which was launched previously.

However, there are some downgrades in the device as compared to its predecessor Realme 8i. The device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor, a 50MP Triple rear camera setup, and more.

Price and Availability in India

The device launched in two different variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage. It comes in two color options – Prism Blue and Prism Black.

The 4GB+64GB model is priced at Rs 13,999 while the 6GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 15,999. The first sale of the device starts from 22nd January on Flipkart,, and also be available on offline retail stores.


Realme 9i Specifications

This smartphone features a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD Display with a screen resolution of 2412×1080 pixels, 90Hz Refresh Rate, and 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display further has a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, 480 nits Brightness, 90.8% Screen-to-body ratio, and Dragontrail Pro Glass protection on the top.

The Realme 9i is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 Internal Storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 1TB.

The device features a 50MP triple rear camera setup with an LED flash in the rectangular module. The cameras consist of a 50MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.

There is a 16MP Selfie camera lens in the punch-hole design display with an f/2.1 aperture. Both the rear and front cameras can record up to 1080P videos at 30fps (frames per second).
