Poco F3 GT 5G Launched in India: Full Specifications

Poco has launched a new smartphone under its F-Series in India, namely Poco F3 GT 5G. The smartphone comes with dedicated magnetic levitation gaming triggers.

The device features a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, a triple rear camera setup, and has a 120Hz 10-bit Turbo AMOLED display. There is also a large vapor chamber and aerospace-grade white graphene heat sink for better heat dissipation.

Poco F3 GT Specifications

This smartphone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Turbo AMOLED Display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 10-bit color depth, 120Hz Refresh Rate, and 480Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display further has DC Dimming support, 100-percent DCI-P3 color gamut, a pixel density of 395 PPI, 1300 nits Peak Brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the top.

The device is powered by a 6 nm-based octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 1200 Processor coupled with Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 Storage.


The handset features a 64MP triple rear camera setup with an LED Flash. The cameras consist of a 64MP primary lens with f/1.65 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture that has a 120-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The main camera is made of an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass that is normally used in DSLR lenses for better clarity of images. The rear camera module has a tactical RGB glow and a lightning flash-like flash module. The primary camera can record 4K videos at 30fps.

There is a 16MP Selfie camera lens in the center punch-hole display. The front-facing camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

The device packs a 5065 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Poco has also provided a 67W fast charger inside the box. It can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 15 minutes.

The smartphone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 skin out of the box. It carries a weight of 205 grams and measures 161.9 x 76.9 x 8.3 mm (height, width, and depth respectively).

Connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone has stereo speakers and a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is no 3.5 mm Headphone jack in this smartphone. Sensors on the device include a proximity Sensor, 360-degree Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, E-Compass, Vibration Motor, and IR Blaster.

The device has an IP53 rating and three microphones for better voice quality while gaming. It supports a Wi-Fi gaming antenna, X-Shockers with precise haptic feedback and vibration, a GT switch, and magnetic levitation triggers.

The maglev triggers pop up from the frame of the device by clicking the slider button located on the right-hand side. These triggers can be used for playing games. The magnetic levitation gaming triggers should offer a better feel and response time compared to the on-screen controls. You can flick the slider button and the maglev keys will go inside the frame.

There is a large vapor chamber and aerospace-grade white graphene heat sink for better heat dissipation. The smartphone also supports HyperEngine 3.0 that offers ray-tracing capabilities. There are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Price and Availability in India

This smartphone launched in three different variants – 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. The 6GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 26,999, the 8GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 28,999, and the high-end 8GB+256GB model is priced at Rs 30,999.

It comes in two color options – Gunmetal Silver, and Predator Black. The sale of this smartphone starts from 26th July at 12 Noon, and the pre-orders start from 24th July at 12 Noon on Flipkart.

The Poco F3 GT will be available at discounted prices for the first two weeks. The Week 1 price for the Poco F3 GT is Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999, and Rs 29,999 respectively, until 2nd August. The Week 2 price is Rs 26,499, Rs 28,499, and Rs 30,499 till 9th August.
