So, these are the Pros and Cons of the Oppo F21 Pro 5G, now let’s see the full features and specifications of the smartphone.
Oppo F21 Pro 5G Review
Yes, the Oppo F21 Pro 5G is worth buying, if you are only looking for an Oppo smartphone, otherwise, we have a lot of other smartphones with better specs at better pricing, in short, the Oppo F21 Pro 5G is a bit expensive.
Also, this could have been the best phone, if it was priced under Rs 18k (~240), but at this price, we do have many smartphones which come with a lot better processors, cameras, and displays.
Overall, if you can pay extra money for the Oppo then it’s a great option but if you don’t want to spend Rs 27k (~USD 360) and still want the same performance then you can consider the Poco X4 Pro 5G.
Now, let’s go deeper and see what Oppo has offered in its Oppo F21 Pro 5G smartphone.
Display
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G features a 6.43-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 60Hz Refresh Rate. The display further has 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate, 90.8% Screen-to-body ratio, and 600 nits Peak Brightness.
The back panel and frame of the device are made out of plastic while there is PMMA glass protection on the top.
It also has Widevine L1 support which means you can stream FHD+ content on OTT apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc.

As the device has an AMOLED Display, hence is has an In-Display fingerprint sensor to unlock the device using fingerprints.
Now, this is a Rs 27k phone and it should have a 120Hz Refresh Rate but Oppo has provided the 60Hz Refresh Rate which is not acceptable.
Overall, the display of the phone is compromised considering the price tag.
Cameras
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash in the rectangular module that houses a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, and a 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 16MP Selfie Camera Lens with f/2.4 aperture in the waterdrop style notch display. Both the front and rear cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
The device does not have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), so it relies on EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization).

Now, Oppo is known for its camera but this time, Oppo needs to work on the camera. The videos come out well but sometimes there are some issues with dynamic range. The video quality of the device is good, but it tries to boost the colors, and it also losses out on details in low lighting.
The 64MP primary sensor captures some good shots with good detailing and dynamic range but it boosts the color of the images.
Oppo has not included any ultrawide sensor which is not acceptable considering the price of the phone.
Now, forget those 2MP+2MP sensors as they are added just for numbers and have no use in real life.
The 16MP selfie shooter also captures some good shots but it also whitens the images. So, if you love saturated images, you will be happy with the selfies.
Overall, the camera of the device does not justify its pricing and Oppo needs to work on cameras. So, if you are a Oppo fan, then you can consider this phone othewise we suggest you to skip the device.
Performance
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Processor which is paired with Adreno 619 GPU. The device runs on Android 12-based ColorOS 12 skin out of the box which is a good thing.
It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 Storage. There is also a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion.
The device also has extended or Virtual RAM availability. However, the Virtual RAM is a gimmick and it’s used only for marketing purposes and has no use in real-life, so forget about that.

Now, we have seen the Snapdragon 695 SoC in the Moto G71 5G, Poco X4 Pro 5G and the same has been used in Oppo F21 Pro 5G.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC is a powerful processor and it can handle almost every single mobile game without any problems.
However, considering the price of the device, we can say that the device is also compromised in the performance department. Oppo should have provided a better chipset like Snapdragon 778G but they didn’t, they went with Snapdragon 695 which other brands are providing at half the price of Oppo F21 Pro 5G.
Overall, the performance of the device is good but is not that great considering the price of the phone.
Battery
The device packs a 4,500 mAh Battery with 33W Fast Charging Support. Oppo has also provided a 33W Charger inside the box of the phone.
Here, at this price, most of the smartphones come with 50W or 65W fast charging support, but Oppo has only added 33W Support. So yes, Oppo has done cost-cutting. Also, they provided only a 4,500 mAh Battery.
Overall, we can say that Oppo has also compromised and has done cost-cutting in the battery and charging department.
Audio
The device does not have stereo speakers, and the single bottom speaker does work but it’s not acceptable at this price, Oppo should have included dual speakers, but they didn’t.
However, the phone has a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack which means you can plug your wired earphones or headphones without any issues.
Overall, the audio quality of the device is good and is not that great considering the price.
