Oppo has launched a new smartphone in India under its A-Series, namely Oppo A55 4G. The device is an upgrade over the Oppo A54 which was launched previously.

The device comes with a triple rear camera setup, a selfie camera in the punch-hole display, and a 5000 mAh Battery with 18W Fast charging support.

This smartphone has a 6.51-inch HD+ Display with a screen resolution of 1600×720 pixels, 60Hz Refresh Rate, and 120Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display further has a pixel density of 269 PPI, 550 nits Peak Brightness, 89.2% Screen-to-body ratio, and NEG T2X-1 Glass Protection on the top.

The device is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G35 Processor coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 Storage. There is a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion of up to 256GB.

Oppo A55 launched in two different variants in India – 4GB RAM + 64GB Internal Storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage. It comes in two color options – Starry Black and Rainbow Blue.

The 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs 15,490, and the high-end 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 17,490. The pre-orders of the device started on Oppo India’s Online Store.

The first sale of the device starts from 3rd October. However, the high-end 6GB+128GB variant will be available from 11th October on Amazon, Oppo India’s Online Store, and will also be available in offline retail stores.
