OnePlus 10T 5G Review
The OnePlus 10T 5G is a good device if you wanted a OnePlus phone but it’s not worth buying as it has average cameras, and plastic frames, and even don’t have wireless charging support.
Overall, the OnePlus 10T is not a value-for-money device. OnePlus did not do a good job with this phone and it can be let down for some users. Let’s go deeper and see what OnePlus has offered in its OnePlus 10T 5G smartphone.
Display
The OnePlus 10T 5G features a 6.7-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2412 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 120Hz Refresh Rate, and 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate.
The display further has a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, 950 nits Peak Brightness, HDR10+ support, and also has a 10-bit color depth that produces 1.07 Billion possible colors.
OnePlus has added Widevine L1 support which means you can stream FHD+ content on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Videos and Netflix.
The device has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the front side and Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the back side while the frame is made out of plastic.
The phone also has an In-Display fingerprint scanner which unlocks the device at a faster speed.

Coming to the design, the OnePlus 10T 5G looks very similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Overall, considering the price, the display of the phone is great and you will not face any kind of issues.
Cameras
The handset features a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash in the rectangular module that houses a 50MP IMX766 primary lens with f/1.8 aperture that has OIS, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 16MP Selfie Camera Lens with an f/2.4 aperture in the punch-hole design display. The rear camera can record up to 4k videos at 60fps while the front camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
The videos come out good with decent detailing and you will not face any issues with dynamic range too. Also, the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) helps the phone to stabilize the videos.
The 50MP primary sensor takes some good shots but it tries to soften the images. But considering the price, OnePlus should have included a better sensor to justify the pricing.
The 8MP ultrawide angle sensor is also good and also captures some good wide shots but here also OnePlus needs to include a better ultrawide sensor but they didn’t which is not good.
Also, forget that 2MP sensor as it’s added just for decoration and has no use.

Coming to the selfie camera, the 16MP sensor takes some okay shots and it also whitens the images. Here, OnePlus should have included a better camera, but they didn’t which is not good considering the price.
Overall, the cameras do not justify the price of the device and they are not worth the price.
Performance
Under the hood, the OnePlus 10T 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor which is paired with Adreno 730 GPU. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 Internal Storage.
The device runs on Android 12-based Oxygen 12 skin on the top out of the box. OnePlus has also promised to provide 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a 4nm processor from the brand and they have fixed the throttling and heating issue which some users have reported on previous gen chipsets, so, there is nothing new that you should know.
The last generation processor was throttling and heating a lot because it was manufactured by Samsung, so this time, Qualcomm canceled the Samsung contract and went back with TSMC.

Overall, the performance of the phone is great and we can say that this is the best smartphone for gaming.
Battery
The phone packs a 4,800 mAh Battery with 150W Fast Charging Support. OnePlus has also included a charger that supports 150W charging.
OnePlus claims that the 150W Charger can charge the device from 1 to 100 percent in around 17 minutes. Now, OnePlus has not provided any wireless charging support which is not good considering the price.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a battery-efficient processor which means the battery will last for a day. However, at the end of the day, it depends on you how you use the phone.
Audio
The device comes with dual stereo speakers which give an immersive sound experience. It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone too which helps a lot in calling.
However, the phone does not have a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack to plug in your wired earphones or headphones.
Overall, the phone has a good audio quality and you will not face any kind of issues with calling as well.
