Yes, Moto G52 is worth buying because it has a 90Hz AMOLED display, 33W charging support, solid battery life, and even decent cameras.

However, there are some compromises like Motorola G52 does not have 5G support and its processor is also not very powerful considering the price of the phone but it’s good.

Let’s go deeper and see what Motorola has offered in its Moto G52 4G smartphone.

Display

The Motorola G52 4G features a 6.6-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2460 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 90Hz Refresh Rate, and 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate.

The device has Panda Glass Protection on the top while the back panel and frame of the phone are made out of plastic.

Motorola has also added Widevine L1 support which means you will be able to watch FHD+ content on OTT apps like Amazon Prime Videos, Netflix, etc.

Even though the phone has an OLED display, it still does not have an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner instead of that the Moto G52 4G has a Side-mounted Fingerprint Scanner to unlock the device.

Moto G52 Display

Overall, Motorola has provided a good quality display considering the price of the phone and you will not face any kind of issues.

Cameras

The Motorola G52 4G has a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash in the rectangular module that houses a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

There is a 16MP Selfie Camera Lens with f/2.45 aperture in the punch-hole design display. Both the front and rear cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.

The videos of the phone come out well in good lighting condition but it suffers in low lighting or night. Also, there is some shakiness in the videos.

The 50MP primary sensor captures some good shots with good detailing but it saturates the images a little bit and there are also some dynamic range issues in the low lighting condition. Also, there are some dynamic ranges while using the Portrait mode.

The 8MP ultrawide angle sensor is also good and it captures good ultrawide shots but it suffers when you use it in the low lighting or at night. Also, forget that 2MP sensor as it’s added just for numbers and has no use in the real life.

Moto G52 Cameras

The 16MP Selfie Camera also captures some good shots but it misses out on details. Here, Motorola needs some improvement which can be fixed via OTA update but who knows when Motorola will fix it.

Overall, the cameras of the phone are good and not that great. So, if you are looking for a camera-centric device you can go with other phones like Redmi Note 11.

Performance

The Motorola G52 4G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor which is paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of uMCP Storage.

The device runs on Android 12-based MyUX 3.0 skin out of the box which gives you a near-stock Android experience. Motorola has also promised to provide one OS update and three years of security updates.

The device also has extended RAM or Virtual RAM availability. However, the extended RAM feature is a gimmick and used only for marketing purposes and has no use in real-life, so forget about that.

The processor used in this device is not built for heavy gaming, however, it’s a good processor for day-to-day tasks.

So, if you are a gamer then you can skip this device because it’s not capable of heavy gaming. However, if you are a casual user who doesn’t play games like BGIM or COD Mobile all day long then you will not face any problems.

Moto G52 Performance

Overall, the performance of the phone is good and not that great considering the price of the phone.

Battery

The smartphone features a 5,000 mAh Battery with 33W Fast Charging Support. Motorola has also included a 33W Charger in the box of the phone.

Now, the Snapdragon 680 is a power-efficient chipset and it will give you better battery backup. The battery will last for a day but if you’re a heavy user who performs lots of tasks then you will need to charge the device two times a day.

Overall, the battery life of the device is good and the processor also helps a lot.

Audio

The Moto G52 has dual stereo speakers which will give a better sound experience and it’s the first time when Motorola has included stereo speakers in a budget smartphone.

The device also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone which will help you during calls. It also has a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack which means you can plug your wired earphones or headphones without any issues.

Overall, Motorola has done a great job in the audio department and you will not face any issues with it.
