Mi 11X Series India Launch Confirmed for 23rd April

Xiaomi has already confirmed the launch date of the premium Mi 11 Ultra smartphone in India billed to take place on 23rd April. Now Xiaomi India confirmed that it will launch a new ‘X’ Flagship series in India on the same date.

Going by previous rumors and confirmation by the Mi India marketing head, the smartphones belong to the Mi 11 series. The models include the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. The models are said to be rebadged Redmi K40/POCO F3 and Redmi K40 Pro+/Mi 11i respectively.

The Mi 11X has already launched for the international market as Poco F3, the rebranded version of Redmi K40. The Redmi K40 has two variants, the vanilla variant and the ‘Pro’ variant. Xiaomi might go the same path for India and launch Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro.

According to the tweet from Xiaomi, the new ‘X’ series will bring flagship smartphones to the Indian market. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the Mi 11X launched in the international market.

The Redmi K40, which is expected to be the Mi 11X coming to India, has a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits maximum brightness, and HDR10+.

The device packs a 4,520mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging and runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Expected Price in India

We are expecting that this smartphone will launched in India at the starting price of Rs 27,000, and will go upto Rs 35,000.


If this smartphone launches in a similar price range or even lower than this in India, it will be in direct competition to many smartphones.
