iQOO Z6 4G Review
Yes, iQOO Z6 4G is worth buying because it has an AMOLED display, 44W charging support, solid battery life, In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, and even decent cameras.
However, there are some compromises in it like it does not have 5G support, doesn’t have an IP rating, and its processor is also not very powerful considering the price of the phone but it’s good.
Let’s go deeper and see what iQOO has offered in its iQOO Z6 4G smartphone.
Display
The iQOO Z6 4G features a 6.44-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2404 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 60Hz Refresh Rate, and 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate.
It has Schott Xensation Glass Protection on the top while the back panel and frame of the device are made out of plastic.
Here, iQOO should have included the 90Hz Refresh Rate, but they didn’t, instead, they went with 60Hz only. So, yes, iQOO has done cost-cutting in that.
The iQOO Z6 4G also has Widevine L1 support which means you will be able to stream FHD+ content on OTT platforms such as Amazon Prime Videos, Netflix, etc.

As the device has an AMOLED Display, hence iQOO has added an In-Display fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone using fingerprints which is a good thing.
Overall, the display of the phone is great and you will not face any kind of issues with it.
Cameras
The iQOO Z6 4G has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 16MP Selfie Camera Lens with f/2.0 aperture in the waterdrop notch design display. Both the front and rear cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
That 50MP primary camera sensor takes some good images and there are no issues with the dynamic range too. However, the image comes out very good, but sometimes, it’s not even useable.
Here, forget those 2MP+2MP sensors as they are added just for the numbers and have no use in the real life.

The 16MP selfie camera clicks some good shots but here the images will come out more white. So, if you like the white images, you will be happier with the selfie camera of the phone.
Overall, iQOO Z6 4G has average cameras and is not great considering the price of the phone.
Performance
The iQOO Z6 4G features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor which is further paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 Storage.
The smartphone runs on Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12 skin out of the box which is a good thing.
Now, the device also has extended RAM which most people are excited about. However, the extended RAM availability is a gimmick and used only for marketing purposes and has no use in real-life, so forget about that.

Overall, the performance of the device is good and you will get good performance in day-to-day life but it’s not made for heavy gaming.
Battery
The iQOO Z6 4G has a 5,000 mAh Battery with 44W Fast Charging Support. iQOO has also provided a 44W Charger inside the box.
The company has claimed that this 44W Charge can fully charge the device from 0 to 100% in around 71 minutes.
Overall, the battery backup of the phone is good and the Snapdragon 680 chipset also helps a lot.
Audio
The iQOO Z6 4G does not have dual stereo speakers, instead, it has a single speaker which is loud, but still, iQOO needs to provide a dual stereo speaker but they didn’t.
It has a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack to plug your wired earphones or headphones. The device also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone which will help in calling.
Overall, the audio quality of the phone is good and you will not face any issues during the calling too.
