iQOO 9T 5G Review
iQOO 9T 5G has its Pros from 10-bit 120Hz AMOLED Display to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor but iQOO has done some compromises in it which can be a letdown for some users.
Let’s go deeper and see what iQOO has offered in its iQOO 9T 5G smartphone.
Display
The phone has a 6.78-inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 120Hz Refresh Rate, 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate, and 1200Hz Instant Touch Sampling Rate.
The display further has a 20:9 Aspect ratio, HDR10+ support, and 1,500 nits Peak Brightness. Hence, you will not face any kind of issues while using the phone outdoors. The display has a 10-bit panel that produces up to 1.07 Billion colors.
The device has Widevine L1 support which means you can stream FHD+ content on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Videos and Netflix. The iQOO 9T 5G also has an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner.

The smartphone has Schott Xensation Alpha Glass Protection on the front and it has glass on the backside while the frame is made out of aluminum but iQOO has not confirmed which glass they have used on the backside of the phone.
Overall, the display quality of the phone is great and you will not face any issues.
Cameras
The iQOO 9T 5G has a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash in the rectangular module that houses a 50MP GN5 primary lens with f/1.88 aperture that has OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 12MP portrait lens with f/1.98 aperture.
There is a 16MP Selfie Camera Lens with f/2.45 aperture in the punch-hole design display. The rear camera can record up to 4k videos at 60fps while the front camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
The videos come out good with decent detailing and there are no issues with dynamic range too. Also, the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) helps the phone to stabilize the videos.
The 50MP primary sensor captures some good shots in good lighting conditions but sometimes it suffers in low light or night photography.
Also, the sensors try to whiten the images, so if you love saturated images then you will be happy with the camera while if you like natural colors then you will be disappointed with it.

The 13MP ultrawide angle sensor also captures some good wide-angle shots in good lights but it also suffers in low lighting or at night. The 12MP portrait sensor has 2x optical zoom and it captures good detailing.
Coming to the selfie camera, the 16MP sensor takes some good shots but it also whitens the images. Here, iQOO should have included a better camera, but they didn’t which is not good considering the price.
Performance
Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor which is coupled with Adreno 730 GPU. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 Internal Storage.
The device runs on Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12 skin on the top out of the box. iQOO has promised to provide 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
Now, most people don’t like the FuntouchOS as it has ads on the UI and comes with tons of pre-installed apps. However, it is the user’s preference, so your experience might be different.
The iQOO 9T 5G also has Virtual RAM availability. However, the Extended RAM feature is just a gimmick and used only for marketing purposes by brands and it has no use in real-life, so forget about that.

Overall, the phone will give you the best possible performance to run every single game available on the market.
Battery
The device packs a 4,700 mAh Battery with 120W Fast Charging Support. iQOO has provided a 120W Charger in the box.
iQOO claims that this 120W Charger can charge the device from 1 to 100 percent in around 19 minutes. Now, iQOO has not provided any wireless charging support which is not good considering the price.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a battery-efficient processor which means the battery will last for a day. However, at the end of the day, it depends on you how you use the phone.
Audio
The smartphone has dual stereo speakers which give an immersive sound experience. It also has a secondary noise cancellation microphone too which helps a lot in calling.
The device also has 2×2 MIMO Carrier aggregation and two microphones, so there will not face any issues with calling. Although, the phone does not have a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack.
Overall, the phone has a good audio quality and you will not face any kind of issues with calling as well.
