Instagram is one of the most popular social media apps with over 1 Billion monthly active users worldwide. People interact with so many posts daily and liked many of them.
Sometimes, people have liked posts and after that wanted to view the post again but they are unable to do so by scrolling or searching the social media. However, if you want to know how to see which posts you have liked on Instagram, you are in the right place.
There are so many instances when you are looking for a photo, video, or any other post that you have liked on your Instagram account, but don’t remember the page or profile where you liked it. However, there is a feature within the Instagram app where you can find them.
In this article, we are going to see a step-by-step guide on how to see the posts that you have liked on Instagram.
How to view which posts you have liked on Instagram?
Instagram has an option, where you can view all the posts that you have liked on Instagram. Here’s how you can see liked posts:
- Open the Instagram App on your smartphone.
- Click on your profile picture in the bottom-right corner to go to your profile feed.
- Here, click on the three-line menu (or hamburger menu) in the top-right corner.
- Now, tap on Your Activity from the given options.
- Click on the Interactions.
- Here, you will see some options, click on Likes.
- Now, you will see all the posts that you have liked on Instagram.
Limitations to Revisiting Liked Posts
According to Instagram, you will only be able to see the 300 most recent posts (photos and videos) that you have liked. That’s still a lot, but if you are one of those who like hundreds of posts in a day, or if you feel the need to look for something you liked several weeks ago, you may not be able to do so.
You can only view the Liked posts if you liked them using the Instagram mobile app or on the web. However, you can only see the liked posts in the app. It means you are not able to see the posts that you have liked on the web browser.
Lastly, if you commented on a photo or video but did not like it, there is no way to find it again if you lose it. You will only be able to see posts you have liked by tapping the heart button (or double-tapping the post) in the “Posts You’ve Liked” option of your profile settings – not posts you have commented on only.
So if you want to be able to revisit a post later, make sure you hit that heart button, even if your main intention is to leave a comment.
