Krafton, the developer of the game, has announced the pre-registration date for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India. In a release, the company has said that interested users can go and pre-register for the game starting from 18th May, 2021.
Krafton announced the PUBG Mobile Indian version. However with a slight change in name. Now the game PUBG Mobile will be known as Battlegrounds Mobile India in India.

Krafton officially announced that pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India will start from 18 May 2021. Also, they mentioned that it will be available on the Play Store for pre registrations.

- A new page will open for Battlegrounds Mobile India. Make sure that the publisher of the app is Krafton.
- Click on Pre-Register option, and turn on install when available if you want the game to automatically install. Or simply confirm on Get Notified when the game is available.
- After the pre-registrations are successful, you will be able to claim the rewards once the game is available.
- If you are registering from a PC or laptop then you will need to select the device on which you want to install the game if you have the same ID on your multiple devices.

- You will be matched only with Indian players. Everyone in a match will be from India.
- Players will no longer be able to change servers to get more kills unlike earlier.
- Below the age of 18 will be asked for their Parents/Guardian mobile number to ensure that they are legally eligible to play the game.
